  I am a mom of 4 who has drawn all of my life. When younger I have always had a fascination for horses which has carried on to my adult years. I guess I will always be a kid at heart when I think of these magnificent animals. Though I no longer own any horses I have fond memories of all of the horses that I have owned from my first pony Star to my last Quarter Baby Sonoita. One of the things about owning horses, and having a full time career, and the husband and family, I never had time to pursue my passion to draw. I guess you have to find a balance somewhere, now that I have no horses, the images I draw on my own are of horses. I guess Graphite Horse will always be a name for me even though I am more of a portrait artist as I draw many different things as well as sculpt in air dry clay which I find very relaxing. As well as taking a jaunt through nature with a camera either looking for subject matter or just trying to capture that perfect image.
